The Cutest Keg

We are kind of beer snobs. A couple cases of bud light just won't cut it for our party. We have been trying to figure out how we are going to make our expensive beer tastes work on our budget. A couple of kegs came to mind filled with our favorites but they still would be, of course, a couple of kegs. A big no-no* apparently in wedding la-la land. I lo-lo-love what the Lollipop girls did at this mid-century modern, Palm Springs (swoon) wedding over at Once Wed.

And, hello, blackboard name tags (which I can't seem to find anywhere!)

* cough cough sarcasm cough cough. don't you know i'm the queen of no-nos??

dude. we're rockin homemade beer in kegs. plus more store bought kegs. plus gin n juice. fuck what wedding world says. if the beer's cold, free, and readily available, the guests will drink it and drink it hard. and I say totally go for the keg koozie.

a no no? whatever. what about the cute kegs in a canoe at this wedding? http://www.oncewed.com/18266/real-weddings-blog/once-wed/victoria-fritz/

I never even contemplated decorating our kegs (and yes, we're having kegs with good snob-worthy beer.) However, you have now introduced me to the blackboard name tags, which would match our (possible) blackboard signage. One more thing to covet and dismiss. Sigh.

When I saw this, I immediately wished we done something a bit more creative than wrap a tablecloth around ours.
