Vintage Plate Help

{via Once Wed}

I want to collect vintage dinner and dessert plates for the big day. I have found a few listings that are reasonably priced on EBay but still need more! Anyone else using or used vintage/thrifted plates and want to pass them along? Thanks!

have you tried estate sales? you should pick up some newspapers and check the classifieds - i found some great stuff at them and always on the cheap!

I'm sure you've thought of it, but the swap meet and thrift stores always have that stuff (and cheap)... Are you looking for the 60s look? Price range? I can keep an eye out for you!

Good luck! I tried and tried myself, but I'm nowhere near a big city and had the hardest time. Thrift stores are the best bet! If you buy a large lot (and pay cash), they usually give you a deal.

Where do you live? I got married a month ago, and I have 100 different vintage cake plates that we used for our wedding. We got them all at antique shows and Goodwill over the course of a few months. I'd be happy to share them with another bride. I live in Ohio - let me know!
